Seller Guidelines — Bhai Ji App

Welcome — these guidelines explain what sellers must follow when creating posts on Bhai Ji App.
Following them keeps your listings trusted, searchable, and visible. Violations may lead to warnings,
temporary suspension, or account termination.
1. Basic Requirements
- Only legal, honest content is allowed. Do not post illegal goods or services.
- Provide a correct store name, full address, and accurate description of your business.
- If you work from home, upload real photos of your workstation or work desk (no stock or misleading
images).
- All communication and post text must be in English only.
2. Product Condition & Expiry (NEW)
- Only new products may be sold on Bhai Ji App.
- Do not list second-grade, third-grade, used, damaged, refurbished, or cosmetically imperfect items.
- Do not list expired products (food, consumables, medicines, etc.).
- If an item has any defects, is used, or near expiry, it must not be posted.
3. Images & Visuals
- Product images must have a clear white background or a solid color background.
- Use real, high-quality photos (no blurred, watermarked, or stolen images).
- Do not include prices inside images (price overlays on pictures are prohibited).
- Use truthful images that accurately represent the product — no clickbait images.
4. Pricing Rules
- Prices may be included in the text description only. Multiple prices for variants (e.g., sizes) are
allowed. Example: “Small — ₹100, Medium — ₹150, XL — ₹300.”
- If a user report shows a significant price discrepancy between the app listing and the in-store price,
the account may be suspended pending investigation.
- Remove or update listings immediately if the product is out of stock or pricing changes.
5. Descriptions & Claims
- Provide accurate, complete product descriptions — include condition, size, material, expiry (if
applicable), and any important details.
- No misleading claims, fake guarantees, or false discounts. Clickbait titles or deceptive descriptions
are prohibited.
6. Communication & Conduct
- Be respectful at all times. Sellers and buyers must treat each other courteously.
- Threatening, abusive, or harassing messages will result in suspension.
- Do not use the app to harvest phone numbers, emails, or other personal data.
- Repeatedly sending irrelevant, spammy, or excessive messages in chat may lead to account suspension.
7. Post Maintenance
- Keep your listings current. If the product is unavailable, remove the post promptly.
- Regularly check and update product information, images, and contact details.
- Fake claims, misleading posts, misleading descriptions, clickbait titles, or clickbait images will
result in suspension.
8. Prohibited Activities (examples)
- Posting illegal products/services
- Using stolen or trademark-infringing images
- Listing second-grade, used, damaged, refurbished, or expired products
- Price manipulation or false discounts
- Threats, harassment, doxxing, or attempts to harvest personal data
- Clickbait images/titles or deliberately misleading content
9. Enforcement & Appeals
- First violation: warning and request to correct the post (minor violations).
- Repeated or serious violation: temporary suspension.
- Severe or repeated misconduct: permanent account termination.
