Welcome to Bhai Ji App. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your rights in relation to that information when you use our iOS & Android applications and website.

We may collect the following personal information from users, where you provide it or it is generated through your use of the Services:

• Location data (as permitted by device settings)

• Photo(s) you upload
• Device information (IP address, device model, OS version)
• Device identifiers (advertising ID, device ID, etc.)
• Payment information (may be collected in the future; payment processors will store payment details)
• Usage data (pages viewed, features used, session duration, crash logs)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data for the following purposes:

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features of the Services.
• To communicate with you about updates, support, promotions, and service messages.
• To personalize and improve the Services and content we show you.
• To analyze how users interact with the Services to improve performance and reliability.

• To process payments and manage billing when/if payment features are enabled.

We do NOT sell your personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. However, we may share data in the following limited cases:

• With service providers who perform services on our behalf (hosting, analytics, payment processing), under contracts that require them to protect your data.
• If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process (e.g., court order or warrant), or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Bhai Ji App, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies, Tracking & Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect usage information and improve the Services. We currently use:

• Google Analytics — to analyze app and website usage.
• Microsoft Clarity — to understand user behavior on the website.

Currently, we do NOT provide an in-app or on-site opt-out for these analytics tools. You can disable or limit tracking locally through your device or browser settings (for example, disabling cookies in your browser or changing app permissions). We will consider adding an opt-out in future releases.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When personal data is no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymize it, unless otherwise required to retain it by law.

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. These include:

• Password hashing and storage using secure algorithms.
• Encrypted transmission using SSL/TLS for data in transit.
• Limited access to systems and logs for authorized personnel only.

Note: At present we do not encrypt all stored personal data; we are evaluating additional protections and may improve encryption practices in future updates.

Our Services are intended for users aged 18 and above. We do NOT knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have collected information about a child under 18, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.

9. International Users & Compliance

The app is available internationally; however, an Indian phone number is currently required to access the service. We do NOT currently claim compliance with GDPR or CCPA. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data protection laws and wish to exercise rights under those laws, please contact us and we will evaluate your request.

10. Your Rights & How to Contact Us

When requesting deletion or data access, please include the email or phone number associated with your account and a short description of the request. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top will reflect when the policy was last changed. Significant changes will be communicated via the app or email where feasible.

12. Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy and any disputes related to it are governed by the laws of India, and by using the Services you agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in India unless otherwise required by applicable law.
